Bathrooms are often a dramatic room that goes unnoticed unless used by guests. In this project design by Kati Fermaint at the Flagstaff Design Center, the main point of interest is the tiled shower.

Before Remodel

Many people choose to tile their shower to give it a more polished look. It may be more work then a prefabricated tub surround but the visual beauty speaks for its self.

This shower was finished with a tile by Longust called Catania Dorado. This walls of the shower were done in a tile that is 20″ x 20″. The floor was finished with a mesh sheet that has 2″ x 2″  tiles in a Sandstone. Showers are an area that you can often customize beyond the selection of the tile. In this shower a bench seat, grab bars and a wall niche were added. Creating a shower that meets your own style and needs is possible, and Floor Coverings International can help you.

In addition to the shower this bathroom an updated vanity, toilet  and fixtures. All of these were purchased from Central Arizona Supply Company. With the tile being the dramatic statement in the space, the vanity and toilet were chosen to be white. The white gives the room a clean look and allows the color in the tile and cabinets to stand out.
