We’ve had a busy year this year and it’s time to share with you some of our most recently completed projects! These projects are collaborative pieces of work from most companies within the Design Center, making any renovation quick and easy. When using any of our companies to complete a redesign of your space, we are efficient in getting the project done quickly and of high quality because we can schedule appointments and installations in accordance with each other, resulting in less time for you to have to live through a renovation!

Here are our biggest projects that were completed this winter season!

First off is a traditionally contemporary kitchen.

Light, naturally finished cabinets really brighten up the space, taking advantage of all of the natural light coming from the beautiful and uniquely placed skylight. Dark countertops help to make this kitchen a bit more modern while the chiseled edge adds a bit of a rustic touch. The beautiful scraped hardwood flooring ties it all together with its midtones, providing a wide spectrum of contrast amongst the dark countertops and light cabinets.

Companies used for this project: Floor Coverings International, Cabinets by Sun Ray, and Northern Arizona Stone Creations. In addition to redesigning the kitchen, our companies put hardwood throughout the entire home and redesigned both bathrooms.

Next check out this traditional kitchen!

Above is a traditionally styled kitchen, with medium toned cabinets and hardwood floors. The home had existing hardwood throughout, and our design specialists worked to find a hardwood to match the existing, perfectly. Traditional detailing went into the cabinets, like beautiful fluting and glass inserts in some upper cabinets. A light granite with neutrally toned speckles and movement sits atop the cabinets, pulling out tones used in the floors, cabinets, and range backsplash.

Here you can see the several different design elements of the kitchen being tied together by the backsplash. The neutral creme color of the subway tile is of the same material as the backsplash design and its tones are used in the backsplash as well. The speckled and moving countertop has cremes and dark browns that are also present as individual squares in the backsplash. Lastly, the orange mosaics in the backsplash link with the medium toned cabinets and flooring. This is such a well-rounded piece!

Last, we feature a rustic contemporary bathroom.

Above is a beautiful, rustic contemporary master bathroom. The owners of this design worked with a contractor to completely renovate their space and reposition the master suite in their home. They wanted a more southwestern look for their home, so in here they chose a beautiful slate tile with a ton of color and pattern variance. It was placed as flooring as well as for the shower surround. Dark cabinets with minimal detailing really modernize the space, in addition to contemporary brushed nickel fixtures, rustic oil rubbed bronze lighting, and a contemporary white stand alone tub, all chosen by the home owners. The window coverings placed provide privacy but still let in a bit of light when closed. Additionally, the home owners have the option of opening the shade from the top down, or the bottom up! This a great feature when you want to let in more light but still maintain privacy. The reed material used really adds to the southwestern theme the home owners wanted to maintain within their home.

Our flooring and design specialists came up with the unique idea to have the shower floor mosaic spill out of the shower space and onto the main floor of the bathroom. It really adds a nice touch to the space and works as a great rhythmic design element. In deciding upon drawer and cabinet pulls, the home owner decided to create her own using left over mosaic pieces. This was a very resourceful and sustainable idea and looks amazing with the surrounding design aspects, as well.

Companies used for this project: Cabinets by Sun Ray, Floor Coverings International, Northern Arizona Stone Creations, and Superior Window Fashions. In addition to renovating the bathroom, we placed wood flooring in the master bedroom.
